The Digital Wellbeing Security Framework (DWSF) is a self-funded benchmarking tool that helps schools assess and improve their digital safety maturity. This policy explains how DWSF handles information in connection with this website and the assessment framework.
DWSF does not collect, store, process, or have access to:
All assessment activity — including responses, scoring, and any resulting reports — takes place entirely within the school's own infrastructure, systems, or nominated tools. DWSF provides the framework, methodology, and guidance materials only. Schools remain fully responsible for how they administer the assessment, and for the storage, security, and handling of any data it generates.
We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking purposes, and do not sell or share any information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Because assessment data never passes through or is stored on DWSF-operated systems, the security and integrity of that data is governed by each school's own IT policies and infrastructure — not by DWSF.
For the limited contact information DWSF does receive (e.g. enquiry emails), reasonable steps are taken to protect it (for example, access is limited to the site owner and emails are stored in a secured inbox). As a self-funded personal project, no enterprise-grade security certification is claimed. Enquiry correspondence is retained only as long as needed to respond, and you may request deletion at any time by contacting us (see below).
This site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies. It collects only aggregated, anonymized data — such as page views, referring websites, and general country/region-level location — and does not identify individual visitors. You can read more about Plausible's approach in its data policy.
This website links to external resources (e.g. eSafety Commissioner, Cyberbullying Research Center). DWSF is not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party sites.
DWSF's website and framework are intended for use by school staff and administrators, not directly by children. DWSF does not knowingly collect any information from children.
This policy may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
