The Digital Wellbeing Security Framework (DWSF) is a self-funded benchmarking tool that helps schools assess and improve their digital safety maturity. This policy explains how DWSF handles information in connection with this website and the assessment framework.
DWSF does not collect, store, process, or have access to:
All assessment activity — including responses, scoring, and any resulting reports — takes place entirely within the school's own infrastructure, systems, or nominated tools. DWSF provides the framework, methodology, and guidance materials only. Schools remain fully responsible for how they administer the assessment, and for the storage, security, and handling of any data it generates.
This website may collect limited, non-sensitive information in the following circumstances:
We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking purposes, and do not sell or share any information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Because assessment data never passes through or is stored on DWSF-operated systems, the security and integrity of that data is governed by each school's own IT policies and infrastructure — not by DWSF.
For the limited contact information DWSF does receive (e.g. enquiry emails), reasonable steps are taken to protect it, though as a self-funded personal project, no enterprise-grade security certification is claimed.
This website links to external resources (e.g. eSafety Commissioner, Cyberbullying Research Center). DWSF is not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party sites.
DWSF's website and framework are intended for use by school staff and administrators, not directly by children. DWSF does not knowingly collect any information from children.
